Chapter K Kickoff - K'jun Kompetition

Larry and Mary riding in.  Wes rode in too, but was busy taking pictures.  The other Chapter attendees chickened out due to impending rain and came by car.

The Chapter table where everyone enjoyed some terrific K'jun food - creole, gumbo, dirty rice - oh boy!!  Did I mention there was dessert too?

One of the prizes was this beautiful quilt containing images of members on their bikes.  This one happens to be Larry and Mary.  Too bad they didn't win.

Time for some games.  Wilford, Jack and Larry competed in the 6-legged race.  Things were going well from the starting line.

The team was off to a good start.  Left, right, left, right - they were winning their heat.  The other team wasn't even in the picture.

That is until disaster struck and our leader went down.  The other team won handily eliminating our boys from the kompetition.
