Miscellaneous Photos
Larry and Mary decided to check out the Springfield Chapter meeting at Ziggie's during one of their Branson trips.  You can see the big turnout in the photo to the right!  They confirmed it was the right place at the right time on the right night.  But.............  Its not often a Gold Winger eats alone!
Photos from Arches National Park - left is Ed Hites, Steve Cotton and Jack Wagner - right is Wilford Levings with a "mini" rock formation.
Cisco Landing, UT - a ghost town.
Section of Utah highway 261, affectionately known as "Puckered Butt Mountain".  One-lane gravel with tight switchbacks and a 10% grade lasting for 2 miles; southwest of Blanding, UT.  The tiny specs at the top curve are Jack Wagner in the lead followed by Ed Hites then Steve Cotton. Photo from the top of the mountain by Wilford Levings.
That ain't fog in the photo on the left - it's SNOW in June.  The photo on the right shows the same place after the snow let up.  Ed Hites, Steve Cotton, Jack Wagner and Wilford Levings were "stranded" by snow in Silverton, CO for 3 days during their 6-state trip.
And that's not dirt or water spots on Ed's trailer - it's ICE as in freezing rain, which is what we woke up to the day we left Silverton.  After waiting for the sun to come up and melt the ice on our bike covers sufficiently to "crack" them off the bikes, we rode out in 39 degrees!
Photos from Bill and Carolyn Duvall's trip to western Colorado.
